We’re reviewing how remedy extension requests and remedy completion are handled. As part of this, we’ve set out rules for each of our standard remedy templates covering:
Before we finalise these rules, we want your views on whether they’re fair and practical. Your feedback will help us make sure the requirements are clear and proportionate before they take effect.
We’re only asking for feedback on the rules themselves:
Please don’t comment on:
Tell us whether you agree or disagree that the remedy should be extendable or not extendable. If you disagree, explain why. If you think a remedy marked “No” should be extendable, tell us what would stop you completing it on time, what consumer action is needed or which third party (if any) would be involved and why, and how long it would realistically take.
For remedies marked “Yes”, review the supporting information required and tell us whether you agree or disagree with it. If you disagree, explain why and suggest any other evidence you think would be more relevant or easier to provide.
Review the supporting information required to mark each remedy as complete. Tell us whether you agree or disagree with it. If you disagree, explain why and suggest what you could provide instead.
So we can attribute your feedback and follow up if needed. These are stored with your response.
